 The Lord brought Jake and Suzy to Liberty Christian Church, our church home. God calls us to worship Him through the word, fellowship, and service. Jake and Suzy have served in drama, audio/visual ministry, the nursery, the Voice of Liberty, going door-to-door, El Shaddai Ranch, Teens for Christ, the finance committee, and the diaconate.
God introduced Suzy to Jake at St. Louis Teens for Christ in Tim and Kim Ward's basement. As a sophomore and junior at Francis Howell High School, they both knew He had brought them together to be married. Seven years later, they were. They have been a part of Liberty separately, and then together, since its foundation.
They are blessed with two active boys: Daniel, and Ethan. Daniel is a determined little boy. He builds large tents out of every chair, blanket, pillow and toy he can get his hands on. Ethan is more thoughtful, but, when he makes up his mind, unstoppable.
The Lord provides for them. Jake and Suzy are graduates of the University of Missouri, Rolla Campus. Jake is employed as an engineer at Emerson Electric. Suzy cares for their boys and keeps their home. They live in Cherrywood Parc near highways K and N in O'Fallon, Missouri.
Their family participates in many activities. They love games. They play board games, party games, strategy games, video games and of course classic kids games. They also hike, read, enjoy the company of friends and family, and learn about science and history.
