The Rafiki Foundation is a Christian organization whose goal is to help Africa’s orphaned and vulnerable children become godly contributors to their communities and the world. It was established in 1985 to help the children of Africa. Rafiki’s plan for Africa has the potential of impacting thousands of children through the establishment of Training Villages. Villages provide living and educational facilities where there are many orphans. The vision of the Rafiki Village is to support the community by operating a home environment and quality schools for orphans, and quarterly medical care for community residents. Rafiki Villages provide a Christian environment for young men and women to develop leadership and life skills that promote their physical and spiritual well-being.
