Over the next few weeks we will be posting information on different mission opportunities that you can get involved in
The missions committee at Liberty is committed to partnering with qualified local and foreign missionaries involved with evangelistic outreach, church planting, and discipling ministry. Some primary goals include to regularly inform and educate the church regarding mission outreach; to raise-up, encourage, and send-off missionaries from our own church body; and to select and support missionary candidates from outside the church.
Jamaica:
The McKnights (Tom, Josh, Blake, and Chase) are planning a Missions trip to Jamaica through a local Christian radio station Joy FM. The trip is from July 5th through 12th.
The McKnights will be working at a Christian orphanage in the mountains along with local Christians. The parent organization for the missions over seeing the trip is World Servants. Their work will involve child evangelism, ministry to local Christians and a work project construction of a dormitory for a rural Christian orphanage. This new dormitory will house young boys over the age of seven who would otherwise live on the streets or in a dangerous state-run boys home. For more infomation contact Greg Tyler at 636.734.4652
